My name is Doris, I am the manager for Vicarage Lane Branch. I have been working with children for over 20years.

​

We offer After School Club provision. Our service offers a local school pick up from many if the local schools in Stratford.

​

At Vicarage Lane our aim is to give children freedom of choice and also to learn how to be sociable. The children are involved in most aspects of the session routine, from choosing and setting up activities to choosing what meals will go on the menu.

 

We have a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities i.e Art, Puzzles, Cooking and Sports and many more. At 5 pm we get all the children in the hall for lots of fun interactive group games i.e Dodge ball, Ladders and Mingle Mingle. By doing this, Quiet or shy children get to socialize without feeling left out and it also helps to break the barrier between the younger and older children, Nobody gets excluded. Our branch has a warm and homely feel which is welcoming to all children and parents
